About Us

Mike was born in Texas. While growing up, he lived alternately between Oklahoma and Texas. He started rebuilding starters and alternators when he was only 13 years old when his dad got him a job for $25 per week. Mike opened his first business when he was 16 years old. When he was 19 years old, he joined the United States Army. After his honorable discharge, he returned to the starter and alternator industry where he lived in Oklahoma, Tennessee, Colorado, and Missouri.
Genice was born in Oklahoma and lived in the same county all her life until she earned her B.A. in Criminal Justice. At that time, she accepted a position with a juvenile facility in Kenai Alaska. She transported juvenile offenders between the correctional facility in Anchorage and the Kenai Peninsula via bush-plane for court appearances.
When Genice was a very small girl, she saw a television commercial about the C & H Sugar Company. The commercial was of a small child hula dancing in the fields of Hawai’i. The commercial had such a huge impact on her she knew she would one day visit the islands. Little did she know, God had a much bigger plan for her life!
In 1996, Mike accepted a position with one of the largest starter and alternator suppliers in the United States and moved back to Oklahoma.
Several months later, Genice very reluctantly left Alaska and moved back to Oklahoma due to an illness in the family. Unknowingly to each of them, they had moved within 1/4 mile of one another. They soon met when she accepted a position with the company where Mike was acting president. A year later, they eloped to the Big Island of Hawai’i and were married barefoot on the sand at the Royal Waikoloan Resort!
Both Mike and Genice enjoyed traveling and wanted to experience more of this great nation! They lived in Washington State, Pennsylvania, and Arizona. And they spent a lot of time in Canada and Mexico. They both knew their hearts were set on Hawai’i. In 1999, they moved to the Windward side of Oahu, namely Kaneohe on Kahuhipa Street. The people of the islands are very good to Mike and Genice in both their business and their personal lives.
They soon open a second location, on the corner of Nimitz and Mokauea Street in Honolulu. And have since relocated to 1824 Dillingham Blvd. in Honolulu. In 2003, they opened a location in the Dairy Center in Kahului Maui. In 2005, they opened a location at the beautiful Lake of the Ozarks in Osage Beach, Missouri. In 2007, they opened a location in Columbia Missouri. In 2010, they opened a location on the amazing Big Island of Hawai’i on the Kona side in the Old Industrial Park. In 2011, they sold their mainland locations to concentrate on their Hawai’i locations. In 2011, that opened a location in Hilo. In 2012 the opened a location in Lahue on Kauai.
In 2014 they expanded and opened their first location in Alaska. They are now on the corner of 15th Street & Gamble in Anchorage. In 2018, they opened their second Alaska location in the beautiful Matanuska Valley on the corner of the Parks Highway and Lucas Street in Wasilla.
God continues to bless them all areas of their lives and they give Him all the glory!

Customer Comments

I took my alternator to Central Pacific Rebuilders. My friend, Traci, brought it in for me. Central called me the very next morning. I talked to Andrew and he told me they would have it for me the next morning. I, Daniel, am very pleased. I would recommend to anyone to bring their alternators and starters to Central Pacific Rebuilders. I give them a five rating. The alternator works perfect.
